About Lady Irwin College
Lady Irwin College is a constituent college for women affiliated to the University of Delhi. It was established in the year 1932 under the patronage of the then Vicereine, Lady Dorothy Irwin. Some eminent national and international leaders such as Annie Besant, Sarojini Naidu, Margaret Cousins, and Maharani of Bhopal were its founding mentors. The Lady Irwin College NIRF ranking 2023 is at the16th rank in the college category. The institute is accredited by NAAC with an “A+” grade.
